How to Subscribe to PGP-Users Mailing List

Subscribe Now! This page is here to help you get information about the PGP-Users Mailing List. What you do now depends on what information you'd like to get. You can do any (or all) of the following. Just remember in each case a blank message suffices. You can include text if you'd like, but don't expect anyone to read it or reply. You are dealing with automated responses from our mailing list server "ezmlm" (EZ Mailing List manager):
  • Get information about the list, like the "Rules of the Road" (a/k/a, the list charter) by e-mailing [email protected]
  • Subscribe to the list. You can do this by clicking on the 'click me to subscribe" icon above (we try to make it pretty darn easy), or e-mailing mailto:[email protected]">mailto:[email protected]">[email protected]
  • Subscribe to the Digest. To do this, you need to e-mail a message to [email protected], or clicking on the link you just passed up in this item.
  • Get help, for example, if you forgot how to unsubscribe (there's a footer on every post to the list telling you how to do this in case you forget) or you need instructions on how to use the archive server to rertrieve past posts or threads. You can do this by sending a message to [email protected]. You should be able to tell by now that we operate strictly on the KISS method of list management.
  • Reach the list Owner. You want human contact? In a real emergency you can reach the owner, but questions like 'how do I unsubscribe" or "how do I get the archive password" are likely to be ignored (or worse). But if you really need it, and the "help" message did not work, then send a message to mailto:[email protected]">mailto:[email protected]">[email protected]
Once you are a list member, all the wonders and accumulated knowledge of the list archives will be open and available to you. We've covered a lot of gound in the past 30 months, so this alone makes subscribing worthwhile. You can get there from here by trying this link PGP-Users Archives, indexed by subject, author and date. Remember list subscribers only
