Microsoft Windows/Win'95/Win'98TM front-ends for PGP
Becky! ©, RimArts, Inc. Becky! is a multi-featured E-mail client specialized for Windows 95 and the Internet that encorporates PGP. Becky! has a number of useful features, including the ability to view and delete mail from your POP3 server without pulling the mail down to your PC. Shareware.
The Bat ©,RIT Research Labs, Inc. The Bat is a great little mail client with every feature that an advanced user will ever need, and very easy to use interface even for a novice. Some of the features are:
- nternal PGP implementation based on award-winning SSLeay libarary. Allows you to encrypt
messages, sign them with digital signatures, etc. Handy manager of digital keys. Plus free plugins for PGP v5.5 & v6.0.2.
- Real-time automatic spellchecker.
- Totally unique Mail Ticker�, which looks like a stock ticker, but it shows you the header info from your new messages - From, To, Subject etc..
- Threading messages by reference, subject, sender and recipient.
- Powerful Filtering System. Filters and Macros are so powerful that allow you to turn the e-mail client into a mailing listserver. For example, you can run mailing lists as well as full fledged discussion lists like
ezmlm, MajorDomo and Listserv.
- Mail Dispatcher allows you to manage your mail directly on the POP3 server.

CryptoEx ©, Gluck & Kanja GmbH. CryptoEx is an extension for Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Exchange. Shareware, but available in a Freeware version.
PGP-Front-End ©, Martin Straeten. PGP-Front-End is a win32-front-end for PGP. It supports clipboard and Drag & Drop file en-/decryption and several key-management functions.
Envelope ©, by Paul van der Vlis. Envelope encrypts/decrpyts messages in other applications, normally by using the actual message in the chosen program. Includes configurations for about 30 programs. Shareware, but not "nagware."
KEYview Pro ©, by Dave Hogg. KEYview Pro automatically integrates into many Windows-based mail packages, providing file viewing of 200+ file formats without needing the original application. Automatically detects PGP encrypted documents, decrypting them before viewing (prompts for the key). Saves documents with PGP encryption.
Atismail ©, by Ron Croonenberg. Atismail is a shareware Mail User Agent for sending and receiving E-mail. Send/receive using Netware, MIME, POP3, SMTP, IMAP2, IMAP4 & many others. Outside applications needed only to view messages containing multimedia.
Mi'Mail ©, by IRISoft Works. Mi'Mail is an Internet mail agent that encodes and decodes attachements transparently, including attachments encrypted with PGP, without leaving the application. Also provides PGP key management. Multi-user, multi-protocol, multi-user. Shareware.
PGPn123 ©, by Alpha1 Enterprises. Available in a freeware and an enhanced shareware version, PGPn123 floats above your Windows application in the form of a toolbar, making it possible to click a single button to sign, encrypt, or decrypt messages. [Note: As of Sun, Jul 12, 1998 Alpha1's Web site indicates that they have suspended operations pending a reorganization. Until then, you can pick up Version E 1.8 from Rivertown.Net's archive. No guarantee this is up to date, its just the last version available to us prior to receiving word of their suspending operations.]

Developed for those who need to secure their e-mail with PGP, but do not like the DOS command prompt, AEgis Shell 3.0 provides push-button control to PGP. Works with Windows 3.1, Windows '95, and Windows NT. Freeware.

Available in a 16 or 32-bit version, PowerPGP lets you write and encrypt messages. After that you can cut and paste your message into any windows based e-mail program. Shareware/Freeware.

Simplifying the most common PGP functions, MailPGP is a 32-bit interface that makes it easy to keep e-mail secure. Uses Windows' clipboard so you can write e-mail with your favorite program. Requires PGP 2.6.x or newer and mfc40.dll. For Windows '95/NT. Freeware.

A Windows/PGP integration tool with a point and click interface between Windows applications and PGP. With WPGP, simply click on a window; WPGP will extract the text from that window, process it through PGP, and place the result back in the window. Includes a drag 'n drop file encryption interface. PWF provides a very efficient way of accessing the full functionality of PGP through an intuitive Windows interface. The original freeware edition, PWF v. 3.1, is still available. There is also a shareware edition, PWF 4.0, available in 32 bit or 16 bit versions. PWF 4.0 provides several advanced features.
PGP QuickFront ©, by Ugali Int'l. Corp.
A shareware program, PGP QuickFront works as a companion to PGP WinFront. It uses the clipboard so thus can interface with any Windows application. The encrpytion and decryption is automatic. It also makes signatures and check signatures. It is avaliable in 32 bit or 16 bit versions.
